Katherine Bryan

Katherine Bryan, age 94, went to be with Jesus on June 18th, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, William J. (Bill) Bryan.

Katherine is survived by her children Yvonne (John) Bleakly, Brenda (Paul) Brannon, and Bill (Julie) Bryan; grandchildren Mike (Denise) Bleakly, Caroline (Jeff) Firkell, Sam (Natalie) Bleakly, Benjamin Bryan, and Stephen (Ashley) Bryan; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Katherine taught the two-year-old Sunday School class at Park Avenue Baptist Church for over 40 years, where she was a faithful member for most of her adult life. She enjoyed spending time with friends, and prior to moving to her assisted living apartment enjoyed gardening and traveling to Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. Her greatest joy was her family and in her younger years enjoyed holidays together and cooking for family gatherings.

The Bryan family will host a gathering of friends and family on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens & Funeral Home. On Tuesday, June 24, 2025 the family will also receive family and friends from 10:30am to 11:30am, with the Funeral Services beginning at 11:30am. The burial will take place immediately following services on Tuesday.
