Judith Ann Richardson, born January 11, 1939, passed away August 12, 2026.

Judith attended Vanderbilt University where she met her beloved husband Sam on a blind date. 

As a registered nurse, she served in hands-on patient care, teaching, and administration throughout her long and distinguished career. 

During her life she loved baking, sewing, smocking, and was an excellent hand quilter. Following her nursing career, she served at Trinity Methodist Church in various capacities. 

She touched the hearts and lives of many people. She will be greatly missed and will continue to be an inspiration to all those who knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her husband, Sam Richardson, her children, Shannon Lamballe (Adrian), Rich Richardson (Peggy) and Mary Love Rose (Chuck), eight grandchildren and many quilts.
