Joseph Andrew (Andy) Littleton died at his home in Nashville, Tennessee on Sept 22, 2026. He was born September 30, 1956 in Murray, Kentucky to Joseph Baker Littleton and Mary Jane (Kennedy) Littleton. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Paul Radford Littleton (1955-1956).

Andy attended Austin Elementary School and Murray High School, along with The Webb School in Bell Buckle, Tennessee. He graduated from Murray High School in 1975 and later attended Murray State University.

Andy lived in Nashville for over 40 years and was involved in many business adventures and opportunities. He was a people person through and through and truly never met a stranger. From lifelong childhood friends, to the friends he made walking the trails at the Warner Parks, to the people he met through Madeline’s life, he had a way of making everyone feel like an old friend. He loved people, loved a good conversation, and never passed up the opportunity to meet someone new.

He is survived by his daughter Madeline Beale (Littleton) Giles and her husband Jake Giles of Knoxville, TN, and his sister Mary Ann Littleton, Unicoi County, TN / Calloway County, KY, He leaves behind a large extended family of cousins and close friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced by the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to Friends of Warner Parks in memory of Andy. The Warner Parks was his happy place and, to him, the park and its trails were family. He walked the same blue trails almost every day, finding joy and peace among the trails.
