Joseph Lagan

Joseph Edmund Lagan, 82, departed this world October 17, 2021 with his family by his side in Nashville, TN.

Edmund was born in Nashville, TN to Joseph Earl Lagan and Martha Dell Roger. He attended Father Ryan High School and graduated from Peabody College. Edmund spent many happy years as a biomedical engineer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was happiest at work and always liked to stay busy. He was well-known in the HAM radio community.

Edmund is survived by his wife Maxine Lagan, brother Michael (Cheryl) Lagan, his daughter Therese Neese, stepdaughters Teresa (Mike) Kirby-Cole and Cindy (Brad) Snyder, niece Kristin Lagan and nephew Michael Lagan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren as well numerous cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Joseph Earl Lagan and Martha Dell Roger, sister Mary Angela Lagan, and sons Edmund Brad Lagan and William Carrol Lagan.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, from 11:00 – 1:00 with a Celebration of Life at 1:00 all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, Tennessee 37221.
