Johnny Wayne Travis- Age 70, Nashville, January 5, 2019.
Preceded in death by his wife, Connie Travis; brothers, Freddie Travis and Tommy Travis; sister, Betty Lou.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Travis; children, Chad Holmes and Clay Travis; step-children, Edith Griffin, Jamie Nelson, Richard Steve Christy and Mikki Bohanan; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Lois, Geneva and Evelyn; sister-in-law, Barbara Travis; many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to his longtime friends for their tremendous support, Tony Mitchell, Jerry Miner and Eric Deal.
He was a proud Vietnam Vet and proud to be in the local 429.
A visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 14 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery.
