John E. Tuttle, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on July 17, 1951, John lived a life filled with passion and love for the joys of life, most importantly, his family.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Tuttle and Billie Keith Bain; son, Lonnie Tuttle, and siblings, Mary Nell Jenkins, and James Tuttle.
John is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Vicky Diane Cooper Tuttle; children, James Earl Tuttle, and Betty Rejina Tuttle; siblings, Kimberly (Donald) Brown, and Betty (Dan) Dodson.
John also had a special bond with his uncle, Dallas (Shirley) Keith. He had a special love for his nieces and nephews, Cody Brown, Justin (Crystal) Brown, Brandy (Alex) Pruett, and Destiny (Todd) Brown; and great nieces and nephews, Easton, Karter, Raegan, Dallas, Tatum, Camden, Carson, Corbin, and Bristol.
A graduate of Cohn High School, John was a proud individual who carried out the values he learned in school throughout his life. Through his years, he had an unwavering work ethic, especially evident in his love for hands-on activities. He found such great joy in working on small engines and outside. The outdoors was his refuge, where he spent hours busting wood.
John will be remembered for his warm heart and spirit. His ability to connect with people made him a figure of support and inspiration to many. His legacy will live on in the memories shared about him by his family. He will be deeply missed.
As we celebrate the life of John E. Tuttle, let us carry forward his passion and the pursuits that brought him joy. There will be a Celebration of Life on October 26, 2025, at 1:30pm. Services will be at Crossroads Cowboy Church. 9460 Missionary Ridge Rd. Bon Aqua, TN 37025
