Joan Lambers Hardebeck passed away at age 89 surrounded by loved ones on May 1, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Charles Hardebeck, and parents Nicholas John Lambers, Rose Oesterling Lambers (birth mother) and Bess Wood Lambers (step-mother) all of Cincinnati, Ohio. Joan is survived by her beloved sister Ruth Lambers Molloy (Edmund) and children Lisa Alsup (Randy), John Hardebeck (Shannon) and Tara Jewell (Dana); her grandchildren Christopher (Sophia), Matthew (Jessica) and Katie Alsup Jacob (Gideon), Adam (Sloan), Nick (Jenn), John (Lauren), Ben and Mary Hardebeck, and Brandon (Kayla), Erica (Ryan) and Andrew Jewell; and her eleven great-grandchildren Coen, Isla, Jemma, Liam, Emery, James, Jude, Dietrich, Noah, Xander and Zach. 

Joan was a woman of faith. She loved being surrounded by family. She was considered The Matriarch and embraced her affectionate title as "Queenie". She leaves a void and will be missed by us all. 

 Visitation will be held 10-11am on Friday, June 5, 2026 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 535 Sneed Rd W,  Franklin with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11am-12pm.

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Ladies Of Charity in Nashville.
