Jerry Claude Pewitt- June 8, 2016. Preceded in death by his sons, Jack Pewitt and Clifton Pewitt; daughter, Elaine Gordon; sister, Dorthy. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce Pewitt; children, Sam Pewitt, Elizabeth Peters, Jeremiah Pewitt and Jacqueline Hollars; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard, Daniel, Marshall and Martin; sisters, Claire and Ruth.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery in Franklin, TN.
