Born March 31, 1951 in Nashville, to the late Rachel and LC McCord. 1969 Fairview High Graduate. Worked for the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority for 39 ½ years, as Airfield Electrician to Airfield Electrician Supervisor.
Survived by wife Debra Bradford McCord, son and step sons: Christopher Scott (Kathy), Paul Travis (Bobbie), Ricky Hughes. Daughter: Stacey Marie Barnett (Jonathan)
Granddaughters: Shyanne, Fallon, Breanna Keeler (Joe), and TeShara. Grandsons: Dakota, Paul T, and Luke, and 2 great grandchildren, Joe and Dixie Keeler.
Brothers: LC (Bucky), Donnie (Cindy) and Sister: Debbie Hudgens. Jerry is preceded in death by brothers: Roy Thomas and David Earl McCord.
Jerry leaves behind his 4 legged companion, Ponyo, who has mourned since his hospital stay.
Jerry will be cremated after a 1 hour viewing at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, on Friday June 1st, 11am to 12:30pm
