Preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Dee Dale; sister, Elsie McCord.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Helen Payne Holt; children, Allison Weirich, Lindsay Starr (Peter) and Shawn Holt; grandchildren, Tyler Colley, Brylee Weirich, Georgie Starr, Ayden Starr, Briella Starr and Brittany Holt; brothers, Ray Holt, Bobby Holt and Billy Dale; sisters, Geneva Tidwell and Betty Cunningham; many nieces and nephews.
He and Helen owned Errands and More for 26 years and he was a mobile DJ at Sound Hound for many years.
