Jeanette Steele of Nashville, TN left to be with the Lord on January 17, 2022.

Jeanette was born in Decherd, TN on December 20, 1938 to the late Claude and Icalene Powers. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mildred Wright and Claudia Kilgore.

She leaves behind a loving husband of 63 years, Claude Steele, daughters; Pam Thrower (Tommy), Penny Steele-Dorris (Chuck), grandsons; Will Thrower (Ashley), Trevor Thrower, great grandchildren; Avery Thrower, Caden Thrower, twin sister; Joan Priest (Earl), sisters; Louise Duncan, Joyce Young, Linda Rose, and nieces close to her heart Cheryl Campbell, Lisa Parsley and Kristie Demumbran.

Jeanette AKA Nana, or AJ enjoyed her family most in life and TN women’s basketball team.

Visitation will be Sunday January, 23, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and Monday 10:30am to 11:30am with a Celebration of Life at 11:30am.
