James "Jimmy" Mccoy

James “Jimmy” Ray McCoy, Sr. age 50, passed away peacefully in his loving wife’s arms on June 6, 2021. Survived by wife Jessi McCoy; son, James Ray McCoy, Jr.; daughter, Tiffanie Christine McCoy; sons, Andy Lee McCoy, Jeremy Wayne McCoy, Sr., Daniel Blake McCoy; grandsons, James Ray McCoy III, Keegen Blaze McCoy, 14 other loved grandchildren; mother, Judy McCoy; brother, Shane (Tereasa) McCoy; sister, Lisa Tidwell, and fur babies, Reese and Hershie.

Preceded in death by son, Baby Ray; father, Kenny McCoy, Sr.; brother, Kenny McCoy, Jr.; cousin, Mark McCoy.

Jimmy was a great dad and loved his grandchildren. He was a family man and the best Paw Paw. Jimmy was a mechanic by trade and owned McCoy Garage. He loved the Vols, grilling, his mama, family, and his wife Jessi.

There will be visitation Wednesday, June 9, 2021, 4-8 and Thursday 12-1 with a celebration of life at 1:00 all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home 9090 Highway 100.
