James "Howard" Martin of Nashville, Tennessee died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Brookdale Assisted Living facility; he was 94 years old.
Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his parents Granville and Francis Sullivan Martin; wife Ruby Jean Chapman Martin; and son James "Jimmy" Howard Martin, Jr.
Mr. Martin is survived by daughter-in-law Jane Martin; and grandchildren Deke Martin and Tucky Martin.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 11:30 a.m. at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home; visitation will begin one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donation be made to the Church of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, 410 Allied Dr, Nashville, TN 37211; (615) 833-0888.
