He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Helen Church; daughters, Connie Crain (David) and Kristie Stein (Ed); step-son, James Calloway (Crissy); six grandchildren; one great-grandson.
He was a longtime member of Antioch Church of Christ and was a member of various square-dancing clubs. He retired after 23 years as the controller for the Varsity Division of Thomas Nelson Publishers.
A visitation will be 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
