Howard “Buzz” Sweeney, age 60 passed away on March 12, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Gloria Sweeney, daughter, Mindy Rutland Davis, brother, Rod Sweeney and great-grandson Mylo Coffey. He is survived by his sons, Brandon (Katie Collins) Sweeney, Shawn Sweeney, daughters Victoria Netherton and Samantha Baker, brother, Jesse Sweeney, ex-wife, Melba Sweeney, 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Buzz was kindhearted man who loves his family and friends, he was also a gifted songwriter and singer and was a founding member of his band Tennessee Courage.
Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 3-7 with a Celebration of Life service to follow at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
