Hilda Faye Potter

November 1, 1941 — May 1, 2025

Dickson

Hilda Faye Potter, a cherished homemaker and devoted follower of Christ, left this world on May 1, 2025, in Dickson, Tennessee. Born on November 1, 1941, in Nashville, Tennessee, Hilda dedicated her life to her family and her faith, leaving an indelible mark on those she touched.

As a mother, Hilda was unparalleled in her love and dedication. She nurtured her daughters, Tina (Tim) Vaughn and Lisa (Steven) Brons, with the greatest care, instilling in them values of compassion and kindness. She was not only a mother but also a cherished grandmother to Josh (Lynnsey), who brought joy and pride into her life, and a loving great-grandmother to her beloved great-grandchildren, Ethan, Alayna, and Mason, whose laughter and innocence filled her heart with warmth. Hilda is also survived by her loving bother, Clarence Pardue.

Hilda's home was a beacon of love, warmth, and delicious aromas, as she found immense joy in cooking meals for her family. Her kitchen was a gathering place, where stories were shared over hearty dishes and laughter echoed off the walls. In addition to her culinary talents, she had a lively spirit that shone through in her passion for dancing. Those who witnessed her move were often entranced by her joy and grace.

Heartbreakingly, Hilda’s life journey was shaped by the loving memories of her parents, Roy Eldridge Pardue and Viola Pardue, who preceded her in death, having lovingly guided her into a life filled with faith and family. Hilda is also preceded in death by her two loving siblings Roy Eldridge and Lois Sharoff as well as her loving husband Austin Potter.

Hilda's legacy is one of unconditional love, faith, and a commitment to family that will echo through generations. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her.
