Helen Yvonne Mangrum - Age 87, July 31, 2016.
Preceded in death by her parents: William McKinley and Mary Lee Carter Sharp; and husband: Robert "Buddy" Mangrum.
She is survived by her son: Darrell (Debbie) Mangrum; granddaughters: Kelly May and April Carrigan; and great-grandchildren: Lyla Brook May and Reid May.
Helen retired as a Rural Mail Carrier. She loved to sing and shared her talent in a gospel group for many years. Her greatest joy was her family. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all her heart.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 PM on Tuesday, August 2 and 1 - 3:30 PM on Wednesday, August 3, at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Her family will celebrate her life with services at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, August 3 Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
