In Loving Memory of Helen Demonbreun October 28, 1946 – July 11, 2025

Helen Demonbreun, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on July 11, 2025. Born on October 28, 1946, she will always be remembered for her radiant smile, her kind heart, and her dedication to those she loved.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Trina Demonbreun; grandson, Matthew Demonbreun; sister, Doris Moran; brother, Ronnie Gann and his wife, Nancy; brother-in-law, Ronald Demonbreun and his wife, Debbie; sister-in-law, Nina Jean Hodge; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred Demonbreun; son, Mark Demonbreun; and her parents, James Cortis Gann and Lola Mai Gann.

Helen retired after 28 years of service at the General Electric Appliance Division, where she was known for her work ethic and her desire to help others. She had a love for travel, and it was easier to name the few states she hadn’t visited than the many she had. Her collections of National Park stamps, pressed pennies, and quarters reflected her adventures and the joy she found in each new journey.

Above all, Helen will be remembered as someone who always had a kind word for everyone. Her infectious laughter, generosity, and loving spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. at the Pavilion at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow the service.
