Harry George Allen Sr., 74, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving family. In his final hours, he was given the rare and sacred gift of saying goodbye to those he loved most.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth Allen; his son, Harry Allen Jr., and daughter-in-law, Rachel; and his cherished grandchildren, Everett and Weston. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to George “Papa G” Allen and Maxie “Mimi” Allen, whom he now joins in Heaven.
Harry was an honest, hardworking man with a quiet but unwavering devotion to his family. He spent years researching and preserving the Allen family history, uncovering the stories and accomplishments of generations past. A faithful member of First Baptist Church of Dickson, he supported both global missions and local outreach with steadfast generosity.
He worked for many years with Taylor Impressions and later Fujifilm, where his diligence and quiet integrity earned the respect of all who knew him. He loved working with his hands—on the job and in his off hours—whether repairing something in the garage or quietly solving problems others never saw. Though his hands could no longer work as they once did, his heart remained fully invested in his loved ones, his church, and the legacy he would leave behind.
