Preceded in death by his son, Harold D. Nicholson, Jr.; daughter, Georgia Sue Nicholson Evans; granddaughter, Makayla E. Nicholson.
Survived by his children, Thomas B. Nicholson (Debra), Bobby Lee Nicholson, Tonya Horner and Jeff Solomon (Monica); 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville (615) 646-9292 www.harpethhills.com
