Gregory Joseph Buergler

Franklin, TN – Gregory (Greg) Joseph Buergler passed away on February 24, 2024 after a long, hard courageous battle with cancer.

Greg was born on April 5, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri; he was the youngest of 5 children, son of Bernice and the late Joe Buergler.

Greg had a passion for sports that lasted his entire life. He played soccer at a competitive level in high school (DeSmet Jesuit High School) and college (Rockhurst University). After graduation, Greg continued to coach soccer for boys and girls of all ages and skill sets. He had an amazing insight to the game and was very proud of his winning records and the relationships he was able to build with his teams. Greg was a lifetime St. Louis Cardinal fan and St. Louis Blues fan.

In his spare time, Greg enjoyed cooking and grilling. He would spend his weekends shopping and cooking for his family. Nothing made him happier than people enjoying his amazing food. He loved to travel and we would spend our vacations at the beach. Texting with his mom everyday brought him so many smiles and joy.
