Gail Page Goode Adcock Thurman

Gail Page Goode Adcock Thurman, known affectionately as Gail, passed away on April 28,2024. She was born on June 6, 1938, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Robert and Ruby Goode.
 
 Gail had a deep-rooted passion for caring for animals and was described as a compassionate individual. Her interests were as varied as they were heartfelt; she enjoyed reading, cherishing moments with loved ones, and held a special place in her heart for her cats.
 
 In her earlier years, Gail attended Van Buren County High before graduating from Columbia Central High School. Her dedication to learning and nurturing relationships shone through in all aspects of her life.
 
 Gail is reunited in eternity with her father, Robert H. Goode, and mother, Ruby E. Goode. She is also preceded in death by her son Herbert W. Adcock, Jr.,  brother-in-law John McNamara, and son-in-law, Kenneth Wingler.
 
 Those who will forever cherish Gail's memory include her surviving family members: children, Deborah "Stretch" McEwen, Sharon Wingler, Robert P. Thurman (Lisa); sisters Kathie Watjen and Ellen McNamara; brother Robert H. Goode, Jr.; grandchildren Elizabeth Alley Franklin, Jason Williams, Justin Trenary, Samuel H. Adcock, and Mary Garner; great-grandchildren Tyler Trenary, Liza Watson, Jessie Watson, AnnaLee Watson, Xander Garner, and Kira Garner.
 
A visitation service will be held on May 2nd, 2024, at Harpeth Hills Memory Garden Funeral Home in Nashville starting at 1:00 PM followed by a graveside service at the same location at 2:00 PM.

A special thank you from the family to Mr. Paul Wingler for honoring Gail’s life by officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alive Hospice, and/or Williamson County Animal Shelter in Gail’s honor.
