Forrest White Slade, age 89 of Murfreesboro, TN, Korean War & WWII Veteran and a recipient of two Purple Hearts, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 10, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his wife Daisy Estelle Slade; son Roger Slade; & brother, Robert (Vie) Slade.
Survivors include his son, Stuart (Janie) Slade; siblings, Frank (Betty Lou) Slade & Betty Ann Cleghorn; two granddaughters, Stormy Milewski & Autumn Slade; two great grandchildren, Arianna Milewski & Cricket Milewski.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of Forrest's life will be conducted on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00 am with an hour visitation prior to service.
Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens with military honors.
