Esley Bruce Byrd, Jr. of Eagleville, TN passed away at Williamson Medical Center, in Franklin, Tennessee, on Thursday, April 11, 2019; he was 75 years old.
Retired from the Metro Nashville Police Department after 37 years of faithful service, Esley is survived by his son Darrell Byrd (Amy); grandchildren, Hunter Byrd (Emily), Parker Byrd, and Brittney Broadfoot (Brian); seven great grandchildren; sister Beverly Jenkins (Tommy); and niece Lisa Schmittou (Rob).
Esley was predeceased by his parents, Esley Bruce Byrd, Sr. and Nissie Geneva McCord Byrd; and son Richard Lawrence Byrd.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 14, 2:00 - 6:00, and again Monday 12:00 - 1:00, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
