Elton Hall's Obituary
Elton C. (Buddy) Hall Jr., of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 84 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Buddy was retired from the Metro Government Public Works Department with 40 years of total service.
He loved working, long conversations with people, and telling old stories from childhood to manhood.
He is preceded in death by his father, Elton C.Hall Sr.; mother, Annie Lee Hall; brother, Tom Hall; sisters, Margie McCord, and Nadine Hall; daughter, Gina Taylor; and grandson, Brandon Hall.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Debbie Hall; sister, Debbie Lampley; son, Byron (Sharon) Hall; grandchildren, Cody Hall, Dillion Taylor, Morgan Dambro, and Dustin Hall; great-grandchildren, Rain, Ren, and Rust.
Visitation will be at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 12:30pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 1:30pm, with the interment to follow at the Jane Jones Cemetery in Fairview, Tennessee.
