Elizabeth Jane Matthews of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away at Alive Hospice Residence on Monday, June 15, 2019; she was 87 years old.
Jane is predeceased by her parents, Rufus Neal and Emma Carter Luster Proby; husband of 67 years, Roger Davis Matthews; and grandson, David Neal Matthews.
Survivors include daughter, Karen Matthews Jones; son, Barry Neal Matthews (Laurie); grandchildren, Jennifer Matthews, Trent Jones, and Allison Sweet (Aaron); sister-in-law, Judy Matthews-Taylor; cousin, Carolyn Pruitt; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 18, 2019, 4:00 - 8:00 pm, and again on Friday, 9:00 - 10:00 am, with a graveside service at 10:00 am; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home and Memory Gardens.
