Edward Wilson

July 18, 1944 — July 26, 2025

Edward Grady Wilson was born July 18, 1944 in Nashville, TN and passed away on July 26, 2025 surrounded by family in Kingston Springs, TN.

Edward (Ed) was a man whose warm smile, sense of humor and unwavering kindness touched everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marjorie, his parents Joe & Ruth Wilson; and his younger brother, Bill. He is survived by his daughters, Marisa Nickel and her husband Donnie; Sabrina Carter; Alicia McNeil and her husband, Shannon. He leaves behind his grandson, Mason Carter and wife, Morgan; his sister, Sioux Toburen and her husband, Steve; along with several nieces and nephews.

Ed was known for his friendly, approachable nature and his eagerness to help others. A hardworking and diligent man, he took pride in everything he did. His faith was central to his life, and he loved sharing it with others. He dedicated much of his time to Bible education volunteer work with his family as well as volunteering with the RBC painting department- helping to build new places of worship and participating in disaster relief efforts. The friendships he formed through these endeavors were lifelong treasures.

In 1969, Ed married Marjorie, and in 1978 they moved their family to Lynnville, Tennessee. There they built a home, started a business with a close friend, and raised their three daughters. He served faithfully with the Pulaski Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 50 years. The congregation was a second family to him, and he loved them dearly. In 1996 he

had the added joy of helping with the upbringing of his only grandson. In 2019 he and Marjorie relocated to Burns, TN, to be closer to family. They extended their spiritual family at the Bellevue congregation in Nashville, where they remained active and engaged until their passing.

Ed’s life was a testament to faith, family, and service. His legacy of kindness, dedication and love will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
