Edna Ann Locke, a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister, passed away Monday June 16,2025 at her home. Born January 3, 1952, to the late Charles James Kelley Sr and Frances Irene Kelley of Bellevue.
Ann was raised in West Nashville and was a 1970 graduate of Hume Fogg High School where she studied cosmetology. It was there she met her future husband, the late Isaac Stephen Locke, and they married on December 3,1971. In those early days they were members of the Music City Street Rodders and travelled to several states to attend car shows.
Ann is survived by her two children, Charlie Locke (Ashley) and Kelly Jenkins (Shawn), and 4 grandchildren, Braden Jenkins, Ethan Locke, Reagan Locke, and Isaac Jenkins. She is also survived by her brother Jimmy Kelley (Chuck Green).
Ann was baptized into Christ in 1964 and was a lifelong faithful member of West Nashville Heights church of Christ (now Charlotte Heights). She was all about her family, always putting her family’s needs and wants above her own. As her husband, Steve, often said, “she liked to keep the roads hot". She enjoyed going shopping, going to craft fairs, and fishing, especially at Piney Point on Watts Bar Lake. She never missed a ballgame, recital, or band competition if her kids or grand kids were involved. She also enjoyed taking family cruises. Professionally, Ann was a teller for 28 years at Southeast Financial Credit Union.
Her presence will be deeply missed, especially by those who loved her most.
