Eddie graduated from Coahoma County High School in Clarksdale, Mississippi. He cultivated a life where he put hard work above all else. As a farm manager in Tunica, Mississippi, he expertly farmed cotton, rice, beans, and various crops, understanding the true meaning of commitment. He also brought his talents to AMR Ambulance, and as an EMT-IV, serving as an assistant chief of the Tunica County Fire Department. With each role he embraced, Eddie made significant contributions to the safety and well-being of others.

Eddie was a true servant at heart. Known for his handy demeanor and the well-stocked "Ed's Shed" overflowing with tools, he was always prepared to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a Mason at the Robert Andrews Masonic Lodge in Tunica, where he immersed himself in community values.

He was an integral part of the security team at First Baptist Church in Fairview, demonstrating his ability to protect and serve his church family.

One of the most cherished aspects of Eddie's life was the time he spent with his grandkids. Building his granddaughter's crib and nursery furniture stands out as one of his proudest accomplishments.
