Dustin James Brumley, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2023, at the age of 30. He was born on January 4, 1993, in Nashville, Tennessee. Known for his determined spirit, mischievous pranks, strong work ethic and sense of humor, Dustin leaves behind a legacy that will forever be cherished.

Preceded in death by his father, Richard Brumley; uncle Rocky Patterson and uncle Randy Mangrum; nephew, Nikolas Luna; grandfathers, James Brumley, George Patterson and grandmother Shirley Patterson.

Survivors include, daughters, Briley Brumley, Teddy Kay Brumley; mom, Kimberly Patterson; grandmother, Jo Brumley; bonus mom, Jennifer Brumley; sisters, Brittany Hines, Camryn King, Emily (Hunter) Sullivan; brothers, Jonathan Luna, Zachary Hinds, Greylyn (Sarah) Hinds; girlfriend, Erica Alberici; nephews, Jacob and Holden; nieces, Hailey, Addie, Hannah, Paisley; uncles, Randy (Carol) Patterson, Tim (Yvonne) Patterson; former wife, Kayla Mitchell Brumley, and numerous loved ones and friends.

Dustin had a variety of interests and hobbies that brought him joy. He had a deep love for fitness and took great care of his body through regular workouts and proper nutrition. His dedication to healthy living inspired those around him to prioritize their own well-being.

One of Dustin's greatest sources of pride was being a loving father to his precious daughters. He cherished every moment spent with them. Their laughter brought him immeasurable happiness and he made it his mission to create cherished memories with his girls.

In his free time, Dustin found solace in the great outdoors. Whether it was while fishing or simply enjoying nature's beauty on a peaceful hike, he found tranquility in these moments. He embraced every opportunity to connect with nature.

Dustin also had a compassionate heart for those battling addiction and supported individuals on their journey towards recovery. His empathy and encouragement uplifted countless lives, showing others that they were never alone in their struggles. He believed in the power of second chances and always expressed unwavering support for those seeking a better path.

During his time in high school, Dustin made an indelible mark as a star football and baseball player. His athletic prowess and exceptional skills on the field and court earned him the admiration of his teammates and coaches. Dustin's dedication to his craft and his ability to lead by example served as an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of witnessing his talents.

Dustin's vibrant spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all those he touched. He leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but also countless memories that will forever be treasured. Services to honor and celebrate Dustin's life will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023. Visitation will take place from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM with the Celebration of Life begin at 11:30 AM all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
