Susan Diane Cranford

Susan Diane Cranford, age 70, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2024 at home. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Betty Jean Carter, and sister, Rebecca Donovan.

 She was born in Rome, GA, and moved to Nashville as a teenager. She was a caring nurse for many years, however her main passion was her family. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. 

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lee Cranford, children Lee Jr. (Shannon) Cranford, Lauren (Brandon) Weldy, grandchildren, Camden Weldy, Savannah Weldy, Evans Cranford, III, sisters, Nancy (Joey) Bossier, Julie Carter, and many other extended family members and friends.  

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens-Funeral Home at 11:30 with visitation one hour prior to service.   

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to American Cancer Society, and St. Jude’s.
