Nashville

Charles 'Patrick' Johnson, 72, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 11, 2025. A respected attorney whose legal career spanned over four decades, Patrick dedicated his life to his family, sports and the pursuit of justice. Born in Fort Knox, KY and raised in Nashville, Patrick graduated from Nashville School of Law in 1980 and established his practice in his beloved hometown.

Throughout his distinguished career, he represented clients with unwavering dedication and integrity, earning the respect of colleagues and judges alike. Beyond the courtroom, Patrick was a passionate sports enthusiast. Sports remained a lifelong passion, from his days playing football in high school to umpiring little league baseball to playing pickleball into his 70s.

Patrick's greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his four loving children: Brian Johnson, Shelley Johnson-Stout, Christopher Johnson and Nathan Johnson; his three brothers: Michael Johnson, Tim Johnson and Don Johnson; and three grandchildren who adored their "Papa."

A memorial service celebrating Patrick's life will be held at Harpeth Hills Memorial Garden on May 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pavilion. Patrick will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to justice, his love of family, and the countless lives he touched both in and out of the courtroom.
