Age 84. May 21, 2014. Preceded in death by wife, Louise Beard; parents, Walker and Bessie Beard; brother, Henry Beard; sister, Ailene Pewitt. Survived by daughter, Lisa Kinnie (Glenn); siblings, Velma McCanless, Martha Williams, Jane Hughes and LeRoy Beard; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A life celebration service will be at 2:30 pm Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Members of South Harpeth Church of Christ will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday 9:00 am until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday 9:00 am until time of service. www.harpethhills 615-646-9292.
