Brian Eugene Billingsley, 58 passed away on April 3, 2026 in Minneola, FL. He was born and raised in Nashville to late William (Gene) and Audrey Billingsley. He graduated from Goodpasture High School in 1986, where he met many life long friends. He made friends everywhere he went and had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around.
He is an Air Force Veteran, he wanted to be a lifer, but had to take a family Hardship and was honored and proud to have served. He loved computers and made a career in IT, in which he was highly respected and made bonds with those he worked around with and also built many lasting relationships, that became dear friends to him. He fell in love with the Catholic Mass, and started attending Mass which led him to convert to Catholicism in March 25, 1989. He attended Aquinas Jr (at the time) College in the Fall of 1990, where he met his future wife in the Spring of 1991.
He married Bridget (Knoell) Billingsley on October 24, 1992 and was married for 33 1/2 years. They had seven beautiful children, who he loved so much. He was very much a family man and wanted to be an example of how to be a faithful husband and father. After getting a job offer in Florida he moved half the family to Minneola, FL in June 2018. He loved being on his boat and on the water as much as he could, especially after being diagnosed with GIST cancer in November 2018. He never gave up, and leaned heavily on his faith for those long 7 1/2 years. He fell in love with watching morning Mass and the nightly prayers of the monks of St. Benedict Abbey in Still River, MA and would pray with them. He was offered the chance to become a Benedictine Oblate (lay associate) of St. Benedict Abbey in Still River, MA on Feb 16 2026, in which he chose the name Brother Michael. He is proceeded in death by his parents and his sister Elaine (Billingsley) Forrester.
