Bradley Eugene Jacob, a beloved husband of 43 years to Sharon; dad to Rachelle and Matt; Zayde to his loving grandchildren, Sage, Ariella, Analise, and Ben; and daddy to his beloved fur girl, Kelly Jane.

Brad was born on May 27, 1952, in New Castle, PA to Jean and Jake Jacob.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; his children, Rachelle and Matt; his cherished grandchildren, Sage, Ariella, Analise, and Ben; along with many extended loving family members, dear friends, listeners of his stories, fellow antique dealers, and porch sitters.

Brad’s greatest joy in life was bringing people together around the table. Cooking wasn’t simply something he did, it was how he showed his love. He spent 18 years as a chef in New Orleans, where he shared his passion for food and hospitality, while mentoring the younger kitchen staff.

Also, while in New Orleans, he proudly volunteered as a firefighter and EMT. After moving to Nashville with Sharon, he owned and operated a residential contracting business, Rachelle Homes, for more than 30 years before retiring. Even in retirement, his servant’s heart never slowed. He faithfully volunteered with Dream Streets, a ministry that was especially close to his heart.

Brad also loved antiques and the thrill of discovering forgotten treasures. He owned an antique store and found great happiness searching for unique finds. Weekend mornings were often spent yard saling with Sharon. Whether sharing a story, lending a helping hand, or making someone laugh, Brad left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He left us too quickly, too soon, but with Jesus, the hope of heaven, one day the circle will be unbroken – together again forever.

Per Brad’s request, a private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
