Bobby W Jones

Bobby W. Jones, born August 29, 1952, to the late L B Jones and Margaret Rager Jones (Tidwell). Bobby peacefully left this world on July 3, 2024, with his devoted wife of 53 years by his side. Bobby was known for his love for his family members, truly embodying the essence of family bonding and unity throughout his life.

Among his many passions, Bobby cherished spending time with his loved ones above all else. His warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew him, making him a beloved figure in the lives of those surrounding him.

Bobby's interests were as diverse as they were meaningful. He found solace in nature while fishing, sought spiritual growth through studying the Bible, and dedicated his Sundays to teaching at Trinity Full Gospel Church. Bobby also expressed his soul through playing the guitar and lifting his voice in song during church gatherings. Spreading the word of God was a powerful calling in Bobby’s life to ensure that all can come to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents L B Jones, Margaret Rager Jones (Tidwell) and beloved stepdad, Billy Tidwell; two brothers, Mike and Ricky Jones; grandson, Justin Roberts.

Bobby is survived by his beloved wife Gloria; sons, Clint (Shaunda) Roberts, Lonnie Roberts, Johnny Roberts, and Bobby Jones Jr.; two sisters, Brenda (Jerry) Mears and Ann Coe; his grandchildren, Kimberly Roberts, Samantha Wolek, and Hope Owens. Bobby also has 6 loving great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
