Betty lived a long and beautiful life shaped by her deep Christian faith. She was a loving wife, a nurturing mother and grandmother and a faithful friend. Her gentle spirit, joyful heart, and unwavering trust in God touched everyone she met. She shared the love of Christ in both word and deed, living out her favorite motto: “To have a friend, you must first be a friend”—a reflection of John 15:12, “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”
Her life was a beautiful testament to God’s grace, and her legacy will continue through the countless lives she impacted with kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation in Betty’s memory.
