Betty Hughes

Betty Joe Hughes age 80, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on December 29, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years Stacey Hughes, parents Joe and Annie Mae Lincoln, and 5 of her siblings

Betty is survived by her children; Roy Lee (Suzanne) Hughes, Sheryl (Mike) Huffaker, sister Linda Ellis, 3 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She never met a stranger a day in her life. She loved bowling, and to travel, with her favorite trip being her time in Syracuse, New York. Once a month you could find her with her friends at the Casino in Tunica playing slots where she was a Gold Club member. She cherished her 44 years at the Bellevue Kroger and serving her community at the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, March of Dimes, and PENCIL Partners. But most of all Betty loved spending time her family.

There will be a Graveside funeral service held Tuesday January 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
