Bettie Howington

Ms. Bettie Howington, age 82 of Bellevue, TN passed away April 5, 2022. Ms. Bettie was born November 28, 1939 to the late Claude Nutt and Audra Burns. Preceded in death by son Bruce Hendon, and companion William Lamar Howington.

Survivors include daughter Tammy Howington, son Randy (Angela) Howington, grandchildren Cristy (Jeff) Tant, Nicole (Adam) Parker, Randy Howington Jr. (Samantha), Angelique (Jacob) Works, great grandchildren, Caroline Hickernell, Charlie Rose Howington, Cooper Howington, Freya Works, Talulah Tant, Xavier Goodman and Meiko Peirce.

Ms. Bettie enjoyed working as a beautician for many years, she was fashionable, spoke her mind and loved to gather family around home cooking, her timing with hot cornbread just as dinner was served, was impeccable. She enjoyed eating sweets and adored her grandchildren deeply.

There will be a graveside service Friday April 8, 2022 at 11:00 am, all held at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
