Bessie L. Henry of Nashville was born May 23, 1958. She worked at Bruce Hardwood for 18 years, with the Tennessean Newspaper for eight years, and Goodwill Industries until her death.

Bessie is survived by daughter Tiwanna Johnson; sisters Judy Averitt of Ashland City and Laverene (Johnny) Cook of Ashland City; brothers Jesse Henry, Hugh (Susan) Henry of Ashland City; and her beloved dog, Sissy; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by Melvin Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee; parents Margrette and Ed Henry of Ashland City; two sisters Molly and Mary; and brothers Gary and Clarence Henry.
