Barbara Jane Holloway was born on August 27th, 1957, in Nashville Tennessee. She transitioned into peace on February 16th, 2026 at the age of 68 surrounded by an abundance of love.

We wish to acknowledge our family angel Teresa Potter our boots on the ground our connector to Barbara’s world and residence family. Thank you Fran Clippard at The Center for Living and Learning in Franklin, TN and Rebekah Tidwell Executive Director of The Pearl at Fairview for being an extended family, with unconditional love and exquisite care. Barbara experienced belonging, purpose, family, and friendship- her lifetime goals.

Surrounded by an abundance of love and family including her daughter Crystal Holloway, sisters, Debbie Smith and Sheryl Jones-Newman, and cousins Teresa Potter and Jacque Dawson, Barbara released her heavy burden and at long last experienced her life-long deserved peace. She was lost and now she’s found. 

Barbara is survived by her three beloved children Crystal Holloway, Logan Holloway, and Sabrina Holloway and her sisters Debbie Smith and Sheryl Jones. 

She was predeceased by her husband David Holloway, mother, Marjorie Bruner Swift and her father, Jimmy Brown.

Visitation services to honor Barbara Jane Holloway will take place Monday 2/23 4-8pm and Tuesday 2/24 11:30am-1:30pm. A funeral service will be provided at Tuesday 2/24 at 1:30pm and burial at 2:30pm at the Harpeth Hills Memory Garden, Funeral Home, & Cremation Center in Nashville, Tennessee to honor her life.
