Barbara Lorraine
Brenner
Apr 16, 1944 — Oct 9, 2026
Barbara Brenner was a woman of faith, a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a special friend to those whose lives she touched. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her kind nature, and the love she shared throughout her life.
Barbara found joy and fulfillment in her work, especially during her years as a manager at Hallmark, where she enjoyed helping others and being part of a place centered around celebrating life’s special moments. She also had a special gift for working with young children. At the daycare center, the four-year-olds affectionately called her “Miss Barbara,” a name that reflected the warmth, kindness, and love she brought into their little lives. Her patience, gentle spirit, and caring nature made her a beloved presence to the children and families she served.
Barbara leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Paul Brenner; her daughters, Tracy Brenner, Deanne Smith, Wendy Gardner and husband Brian Gardner; her brother, Paul Schulz; her grandchildren, Zackery McClary, Morgan McClary, and Chase Smith; and her great-grandchild, Quinn. Each of them carries a part of her love and legacy, and the memories they shared with her will remain treasured for years to come.
Though her family and friends will deeply miss her presence, they can find comfort in the promise of their faith and the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Her earthly journey may have ended, but the love she gave, the lives she influenced, and the faith she carried will continue to live on through those who knew and loved her.
Barbara’s life was a testament to family, kindness, and love. She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever held close in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Private family services will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
