Anna Marie Jones (née Manzella), beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, at the age of 83. She was surrounded by her loving family at her home in Fairview, TN.

Born on September 20, 1942, in Pittsburgh, PA, Anna was the daughter of Anthony Manzella and Sadie Manzella. She grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from St. Luke High School in 1960.

She married James V. Jones on July 28, 1972, and together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. Together, they raised 3 children: Joan McBee, Russell Jones and Anthony Jones, who will be forever grateful for her love and support.

Anna had a passion for jigsaw puzzles and cooking, which she enjoyed throughout her life.

The most important aspect of Anna’s life was her relationship to her family, both immediate and extended. Throughout her life, Anna was a source of unwavering love, strength, and guidance to her family and friends.

In addition to her children, Anna is survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many other relatives and friends who were touched by her warmth and kindness.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Anna will be held at Harpeth Hills Memory Garden, located at 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN, on July 8 at 11:30 am. Viewing will be July 8, 9:30-11:30 am. Friends and family are invited to attend to pay their respects and share their memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Anna’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, which was close to her heart.
