Obituary

Alice Lunn Curtis Stutts, lovingly known as “Rinkie” to most, passed away on September 30th, 2026, at the age of 92, in Nashville, TN. Born Alice Ray Lunn on December 6th, 1933, in Hillsboro, TN, she began life as the second oldest of nine children.

In her passing, she rejoins her parents, Oliver and Margaret, her sisters Rosemary Denton, Mildred Dobbs, Jean Mangram, and brothers, James "Bud" Lunn, Tommy Lunn, Robert "Deacon" Lunn, Franklin "Goody" Lunn, and William "Bo" Lunn. Her husband Hick Curtis and husband Wayne Stutts, as well as her youngest son, Trent Curtis.

She is survived by her loving family - her son, Anthony (Jennifer) Curtis, and stepchildren Karen Ittel and Todd Stutts. Her grandchildren, Noa-Sara Curtis, and Ryman Curtis, as well as step-grandchildren Rachel Simon, Nick Simon, Cary Simon, Hailey Botto, Grace Muniz, and Jake Ittel.

Rinkie wore many hats throughout her life, from making floral arrangements to styling neighbor's hair to later settling as a bookkeeper and receptionist. Her kindness and bright spirit always kept someone on the phone a little longer than they should be, and her rascal humor often kept them laughing too.

If you were to ask Rinkie she would say her most important job was being a loving wife, mom, grand-mommy, and aunt to her family. She will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind, but her mark on their life remains, forever.
