Alex V. Barnhill died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tennessee; he was 84 years old. Mr. Barnhill is preceded in death by his parents V.J. Barnhill and Clara Bell Bradford Barnhill. He is survived by his daughter Pam (David) Best; ex-wife Betty Barnhill; brother Glenn (Peggy) Barnhill; niece Shaunda (Chris) Claud, great nephew Ryan and great niece Anna; and many cousins and extended family.
Visitation for Mr. Barnhill will be Thursday, July 24 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with a memorial service Friday, July 25, 2:00 at the First Baptist Church of Fairview.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alive Hospice.
