Alda Nadine Cox Hutcherson Burkeen was born in Williamson County, Tennessee on February 24, 1930, to the late Clarence and Bertha Martin Cox. She entered eternal rest in Franklin, Tennessee, on January 3, 2026, at the age of 95 years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands Harding Hutcherson and Bobby Burkeen, brother Baxter Cox, sisters Rita Cox, Doris Sullivan, Juanita Lankford, son-in-law Russell Donmoyer. She is survived by daughters, Linda Donmoyer, Joyce Cebula, sons, Ricky Hutcherson (Edna), Farrell Hutcherson, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, sister, Alda Brown, along with a host of other family members and friends.
Nadine always wore a big smile that was contagious. She was a very enthusiastic person with a youthful attitude. She loved being in service to others. She became affectionately known as Granny to her caregivers at The Lantern. She enjoyed crocheting, doing embroidery work, traveling, working in her garden and cooking. She was known for her chicken and dumplings, dressing and lemon mousse.
Nadine will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
