Aghdas Dehnadi was born on May 28th, 1945, to the late Gholamali and Touba in Gorgan, Iran. She passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Aghdas lived a life defined by quiet strength, unwavering courage, and a boundless kindness that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She faced hardships that would have broken many, yet she met each one with grace and resilience, emerging stronger and more determined. Those who knew her best understood that her gentle spirit was made of something unshakeable.
She was a woman of remarkable courage. A devoted homemaker, Aghdas found her greatest joy and purpose in nurturing her family and the home she built for them. She was a gifted cook, and her garden reflected her patient, loving nature. An avid reader, she had a deep love of books and a curious, thoughtful mind that she carried with her always.
She is survived by her three beloved children: Behnam Akhyari, Behnoush Pourali, her spouse Moosa Pourali, and their daughter Sarah Parmis, and Behzad Akhyari and his spouse Neda Nekooee, and their son Arad. She is also survived by her nieces Fatima, Maryam and Anita, and nephews Mansour and Ali. She is preceded in death by her husband, Aman Akhyari, and her siblings Faramarz and Simin.
Aghdas leaves behind a family she loved fiercely. She was strong-willed and courageous. Those who carry her memory forward are richer for having known her. A service and celebration of life will be held on July 3, 2026, at 10:30 am at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. She was deeply loved, and she will be forever cherished.
