William Bryant Tyree was born September 30, 1981. He loved family strongly and valued friendship. He passed peacefully on to the care of the Lord on the morning of October 29th, 2019.

He is remembered as a generous, engaging, and entertaining person, accepting of and interested in everyone he met. He uniquely moved to the beat of a different drummer as evidenced by riding a unicycle or tricycle to work. He was loved by many and will be missed forever. He was extremely competitive in every aspect of his life: soccer, trivia, chess, word games, juggling, family debates, sports, darts, and beard growing. Will graduated from Brentwood High School in 2000 and attended the University of Tennessee. He spent many years in the restaurant field.

Will-yum is survived by his mother & father Paticia Racker Tyree and Frank Tyree of Brentwood, sister Sharon Glenn (Daniel), brother Russell Tyree (Courtney), four nephews - Ty, Todd, and Trey Glenn, and Patton Tyree, niece Ellis Jean Tyree, beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, and his dog Percy.  He was greeted in heaven by both sets of grandparents: Mary Lou and William (Bill) Tyree, Virginia (Gini) and Frederick (Fritz) Racker.

Visitation is at Forest Hills United Methodist Church Friday, November 1, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 pm and 2:00 pm Saturday, November 2, prior to the memorial service at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Beyond the Horizon Corporation www.camphorizontn.org/donate, a free camp experience for childhood cancer patients organized by his brother, Russell.
