Thomas Clayton Walker
Thomas Clayton Walker, age 34, of Fairview, Tenn., passed away Friday, January 31, 2020. A kind and strong man with a great sense of humor, a wonderful, loving father, a dear, delightful son, a loyal, giving brother, and a faithful friend to many, Clayton’s passing leaves an enormous hole in the lives of all who loved him.
A talented carpenter who loved to build things, and especially loved helping repair the homes of friends and family, Clayton also served in the United States Army as a member of the 10th Mountain Division and forged himself into an accomplished musician over the years. He is a graduate of Christ the King School and Hillwood High School, both in Nashville.
He is survived by his fiancé Sarah Beckman; children Aryston Walker, Locklan Walker and Harper Land; father Jerry Walker (predeceased) and parents Jeanne and Jeff Bradford; and siblings William Walker, Charles Walker and his wife, Leah, Warren Walker and his wife, Brittany, and Louise Dowden and her husband, Trinity.
The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3001 Belmont Boulevard, Nashville, Tenn. There will be a vigil/visitation the evening before the funeral, also at Christ the King Church, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Friends and family will be invited to say a few words about Clayton during the vigil. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Agape Animal Rescue, agaperescue.org.
