I have this privilege to know Shahram in the last few days of his life in this dimension we call it , Donya which means the temporal world! I realized from his friends and family how he had been supportive, caring and pleasant in his life. That reminds me, ” Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken.”

To many Shahram, was a great friend, a respected associate, a loving father and a faithful husband, but to me Shahram Nikahd was an ocean of memories, we climbed mountains together, carried each other through rough terrain, so today I morn not only a loss of a family member, but a loss of a man who took a big part of my life with him, a void that will never be refilled and a loss that no words can describe. Rest in Peace Shahram jan.

I only met your dad once, but as their teacher I got to know Melina and Monya at Nashville Christian. Both are talented and lovely young ladies. My condolences to you both, and to all the family and friends in this time of loss.

Shahram was a good friend and brother to me. We met each other in the first year of university in Tennessee Tech, and had kept our friendship ever since then. He was humorous and had a friendly personality. He loved his family and cared for them very much. Even though, we were far apart from each other, but I had the pleasure of talking to him on the phone regularly and seeing him and his family few times when they used to come and visit me in Los Angeles. He will be truly missed by me and my family as we all loved him and his family dearly. I am sure he is in a better place and hope in my heart to see him in future, May you rest in peace brother.

    From Shahin:
    Hello my dear Uncle Shahram;
I still do not believe that you are not with us.
You were and would be the best uncle and my best friend in the entire world, and I loved you like a father with all my heart.
I owe alot to you and I’m deeply sad that I did not have the opportunity to do something, even small, for you.
I learned a lot of great things from you and your unique personality, and there are so many wonderful and sweet memories in my mind that I will never forget.
Do not worry about Mamanjoon, I will take care of her and your sisters till the last day of my life.
I will also do whatever I can, form dear Marsha, Monya ,and Melica and I will not hesitate to help.
I hope we can visit them all soon in Iran.
Now that I’m writing this letter, I’m crying so hard and I can not stop myself from crying.
I’m really sorry and sad that I was not there by your side during those rough times you had at the hospital.
I know that you are in heaven now.
You will stay in my heart forever and I will never forget you.
I hope someday, maybe soon maybe late, I come to you and see you again.
    I don’t know when it will be,but I will.
    Miss you so much

Shahram Jim Nikahd was a special friend and like a brother. I was fortunate to work with Shahram over 30 years. We saw each other almost every day for walk breaks. Shahram was a loving, caring, trustworthy and professional. He never would inconvenience anyone for his own comfort. He was very successful in his profession as a Regional Utility Manager with Tennessee Department of Transportation. His love for Marsha, Melica and Monya was unbeatable. He loved his family in Iran. He was a mentor to me. I have lost an incredible friend. No doubt Shahram is in heaven. The pain of missing him will stay with me.
    Shahrameh azizam REST IN PEACE
